Will's been into singing lately and one of his songs is "Ring Around the Rosie". But if you listen carefully, the second line is NOT "a pocket full of posies", but "a punkun pull deposie". I've found that it doesn't matter if words don't seem to make sense (Hello! For years- really up until just about a year ago- I thought it went "She's my tomay-tay" instead of "She's mighty mighty" in "Brick House") if you dig the tune.
And every day at naptime, I sing "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" to Catie right before I put her in her crib. For the past several days when I tell her it's time for her nap, she'll sing "up a buh" as we walk into her room- which I'm pretty sure is "up above" from the song.
Sweet, huh?

Oh yes...I was in college when it was pointed out to me that Whitney Houston's song "How will I know?" did not include the lines, "Four legged love, is all that I need..."
So cute!
Oh Jeanne! What a hoot!
And how about Bon Jovi's "Shot through the heart, in your toupee"?
Hah...I sing Twinkle Twinkle all of the time. We have a sound clip of Aidan singing like he does in this incredibly high pitched voice. He immediately starts singing if Will cries no matter where he is or what he is doing! BTW, Jay's and my favorite is the clip of Catie talking!
Wow sometimes Will is so cute!!!One time I played "Ring around the
Rosie"with Will and he did get the words wrong!
